Five Things The Chamber Did For Your Business: May 18 – May 22, 2026

At the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, we’re focused on creating meaningful opportunities that support local businesses and strengthen community connections. Whether we’re recognizing member accomplishments, fostering strategic partnerships, or supporting initiatives that benefit our region, our goal is always to help build a vibrant, connected, and successful business community. Curious what we’ve been working on?

Here are five highlights from the past week:

  1. Laura represented the Chamber at the ribbon cutting celebration for Copan Diagnostics’ new manufacturing facility in Murrieta, marking an exciting milestone for the company. The event welcomed team members who traveled from Copan’s headquarters in Italy to commemorate the opening, highlighting Murrieta’s growing presence in the global life sciences and innovation industry.
  2. The Chamber proudly hosted the Student of the Year program, celebrating Murrieta’s 6 outstanding high school seniors for their character, academic achievement, leadership, and community impact. This year’s event marked a special milestone, with each recipient receiving a record-high $5,000 scholarship in recognition of their hard work and bright future ahead.
  3. Patrick attended the ICSC conference in Las Vegas alongside the City of Murrieta team, where they met with retailers, developers, and industry leaders to showcase the opportunities available in Murrieta. The event provided valuable conversations focused on economic growth, commercial development, and attracting new businesses that will continue strengthening the city’s thriving business community.
  4. Impact Riverside County, our 501(c)(3) foundation, with city partners, proudly hosted the ICSC Mixer at Atomic Golf in Las Vegas, bringing together industry professionals, developers, and retailers for an evening of networking and collaboration.
  5. Patrick met with Amber Berkey, the new Executive Director of Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center, to discuss ways the Chamber can continue supporting the organization’s important work in the community. The meeting was a great opportunity to connect, share ideas, and strengthen the partnership between Michelle’s Place and the local business community as Amber steps into her new leadership role.

We’re thankful to be part of such a passionate and collaborative business community—one driven by innovation, partnership, and a shared vision for the future. Whether you’ve joined us at an event, supported our efforts, or stayed engaged from afar, we truly appreciate the role you play in helping our community continue to grow and succeed.
