Five Things The Chamber Did For Your Business: May 11 – May 15, 2026

At the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, we’re committed to creating opportunities that support business growth and meaningful community connections. From celebrating member achievements and building valuable partnerships to championing initiatives that move our region forward, everything we do is focused on fostering a strong, connected, and thriving business community. Want to know what we’ve been up to?

Here are five highlights from the past week:

  1. Maritza attended this month’s Southwest California Legislative Council (SWCLC) meeting, where regional leaders gathered to discuss key legislative and economic issues impacting Southwest Riverside County. The meeting focused on the state budget and included a review of fiscal bills reporting to the floor, providing insight into the legislative process and the financial priorities currently shaping policy discussions at the state level.
  2. We hosted this month’s Coffee with the City of Wildomar, where attendees had the opportunity to hear from the Building and Safety Department. The presentation provided valuable insight into the department’s role in supporting safe development and construction throughout the community, while also giving local businesses and residents a chance to connect directly with city staff, ask questions, and stay informed on current processes and initiatives.
  3. We were honored to partner with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation to host the National Civics Bee® Regional Finals at the Murrieta Innovation Center! Our top three finalist middle school students demonstrated impressive knowledge and passion for civics, government, and community engagement. Congratulations to our winners, and our top two finalists who will be advancing to the California State Civics Bee®!
  4. We were thrilled to celebrate the Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting for Essence Integrative and Psychiatric Health Services, a meaningful new addition to our local healthcare community focused on mental health and overall well-being. Guests had the opportunity to meet the team, tour the beautiful space, and learn more about Essence’s compassionate, personalized approach to care that helps individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered on their healing journey.
  5. We had a great turnout at our May Networking Breakfast, where business and community leaders gathered to discuss one of the region’s most pressing issues - housing affordability and growth. Our featured speaker, Chris Gray, Deputy Executive Director of WRCOG, shared valuable insight into current housing trends, regional planning efforts, and how housing impacts our workforce, businesses, and overall community development.

We’re grateful to be surrounded by a business community fueled by collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to progress. Whether you’ve attended an event, partnered with us, or stayed connected along the way, we appreciate the support and enthusiasm you bring to our collective success.
