Five Things The Chamber Did For Your Business: August 11 – 15, 2025

At the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, we’re all about creating meaningful opportunities that help our businesses thrive. From celebrating achievements to sparking new connections and driving community growth, everything we do is aimed at building a strong, thriving network. Curious about what we’ve been up to?

Here are five highlights from the past week:

  1. Patrick attended the Southwest California Legislative Council meeting, where Senator Kelly Seyarto gave an insightful update on the final weeks of the legislative session. He shared his concerns about the state budget and budget trailer bills, as well as the challenges ahead with impending redistricting, offering attendees a candid look at the issues shaping California’s political landscape.
  2. Patrick attended Oak Grove Center’s 18th Annual So-Cal Chef Open at Peltzer Farm & Winery, where top Southern California chefs served up delicious tapas-style creations in a friendly competition. The sold-out evening blended gourmet bites, lively community spirit, and support for Oak Grove’s Culinary Vocational Training Program, helping at-risk and special-needs youth gain valuable job skills.
  3. We enjoyed this month’s Coffee with the City of Wildomar, where the Public Works and Engineering Departments shared updates on current infrastructure projects, roadway improvements, and future development plans. Attendees enjoyed coffee and conversation with city leaders while learning how Wildomar is working to support growth, safety, and a thriving community.
  4. We hosted our August Networking Breakfast for a morning of valuable connections and local insight. Guest speaker Adam A. Ruiz, Vice President of Public Affairs at Rincon Strategies, presented "From Bills to Business: A Legislative Update for 2025", offering a clear overview of key bills to watch, their potential impact on our business community, and how the Chamber is advocating on members’ behalf.
  5. We all joined the fun at Wildomar Night at Lake Elsinore Storm Stadium, where residents came together for a hometown celebration under the stadium lights. The evening featured local nonprofit booths and a ceremonial first pitch by Mayor Ashley DePhillippo. It was a perfect summer night of baseball, community spirit, and Wildomar pride.

We love championing our business community through purposeful events, genuine relationships, and shared opportunities for growth. Whether you’ve joined us at an event, supported us from the sidelines, or simply stayed in touch, we’re grateful for the part you play and the positivity you bring to our collective success.
