Five Things The Chamber Did For Your Business: July 14 – July 18, 2025

At the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, we’re dedicated to creating impactful opportunities that help local businesses grow and succeed. From celebrating wins and building connections to driving our community forward, everything we do supports a thriving business environment. Curious what we've been up to lately?

Here are five standout moments from the past week:

  1. Patrick teed off at the UCS Charity Golf Tournament at BearCreek Golf Club, joining Special Olympics Southern California for their Unified Champion Schools fundraiser. The event brought our community together for a day of spirited golf, camaraderie, and support for athlete inclusion programs. Through each swing and shared round, Patrick helped raise awareness and funds to promote social inclusion for students both with and without intellectual disabilities. These moments on the green underscore our ongoing commitment to community partnership and inclusive impact.
  2. We spoke at the Murrieta City Council meeting to voice support for reinstating the DIF schedule fee—an important step toward attracting high-end hotels and much-needed amenities to our area. We're proud to share that the council unanimously approved the measure 5–0, a win for thoughtful growth and the future of Murrieta’s business landscape.
  3. In another notable event at the City Council meeting, Ernie Sanchez was honored as a Champion of Murrieta for his 20 years of dedication to the Tour de Murrieta. For over two decades, Ernie helped grow the event into a beloved two-day cycling festival featuring professional races, a kids’ criterium, expo, live music, and community bike-safety rodeos in partnership with local law enforcement. This well‑deserved recognition celebrates his lasting impact on our community through sport, service, and leadership.
  4. Patrick and Scott Agajanian attended the GreaterLA Life Science Forum hosted by Biocom California, where they connected with industry leaders, investors, elected officials, and regional decision makers to explore the latest developments in Southern California’s life science ecosystem . The day featured expert panels and discussions on positioning L.A. as a global life science hub, fostering inclusive growth, and strengthening industry‑government collaboration—helping us stay on the cutting edge of innovation and community impact.
  5. Patrick met with the Small Business Policy Council—a coalition of local chambers working alongside CalChamber—to collaborate on strategies that support small businesses across California. These conversations help shape policy priorities and ensure the voice of small business is heard at the state level.

We're committed to strengthening our business community—through purposeful events, lasting relationships, and collective growth. Whether you’ve joined us in person, lent your support, or stayed connected from afar, we’re grateful for your continued involvement and the energy you bring to this shared journey.
