Five Things The Chamber Did For Your Business: June 9 – June 13, 2025

At the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, we’re dedicated to creating impactful opportunities that empower our local businesses to succeed. From recognizing achievements and building connections to supporting community progress, everything we do is centered on strengthening our region’s business ecosystem. Curious about what we’ve been up to?

Here are five highlights from the past week:

  1. We had a full room at the June Coffee with the City of Wildomar, where everyone enjoyed the featured presentation from Animal Friends of the Valleys. Executive Director Mo Middleton highlighted the shelter’s life‑saving adoption and education programs that directly benefit our community’s furry residents. It sparked thoughtful questions and plenty of enthusiasm for supporting AFV’s ongoing mission to protect and care for local animals.
  2. We hosted our June Networking Breakfast at The Cove Bar & Grill! This month’s guest speaker was Lance Christiansen from the CDTFA, who broke down key 2025 tax law changes impacting businesses in a very engaging and entertaining way. It was a morning full of connections, insights, community, and of course, delicious breakfast
  3. Patrick attended the 11th Annual JAGS Gives Back charity golf tournament, where players and supporters gathered to benefit veterans, active military, and youth in need, reinforcing the organization's commitment to “Integrity, Honor and Character.” The event featured a full day of golf, contests, and raffles. All proceeds directly support JAGS’ scholarship and service programs that uplift local communities through meaningful impact.
  4. Patrick attended the Western Riverside Council of Governments (WRCOG) 2025 General Assembly at Pechanga Resort & Casino, an annual gathering of regional leaders focused on collaboration and strategic planning across Western Riverside County. The event included the election of new officers, adoption of WRCOG’s annual budget, and updates on key initiatives impacting transportation, housing, sustainability, and economic development. A standout moment was the keynote address by retired Admiral William H. McRaven, who inspired attendees with powerful stories of leadership, service, and the importance of working together to strengthen communities. It was a meaningful opportunity to connect with public and private sector partners and help shape the future of the region.
  5. We proudly celebrated the Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting for the MVUSD’s Early Learning Center! This beautiful, purpose-built facility reflects MVUSD’s deep commitment to supporting children and families during the most critical years of development. Designed with young learners in mind, the center will offer a range of preschool programs, early intervention services, and family education resources—all aimed at fostering school readiness and long-term academic success. We’re honored to celebrate this exciting milestone and welcome the Early Learning Center as a vital new resource for Murrieta families.

We’re committed to moving our business community forward—through purposeful events, strong partnerships, and collective growth. However you’ve been involved—whether showing up, cheering us on, or staying connected—we’re grateful for your support and the energy you contribute to our shared success.
