Five Things The Chamber Did For Your Business: May 5 – May 9, 2025
At the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, we’re all about creating meaningful opportunities that help local businesses grow and thrive. Whether we’re celebrating accomplishments, fostering connections, or moving our community forward, our focus is always on building a vibrant business landscape. Wondering what we’ve been working on lately?
Here are five standout moments from the past week:
- We had our May Networking Breakfast at The Cove Bar & Grill! Attendees gathered for great food, meaningful connections, and a powerful “Smart Money Moves” panel featuring Nicole Albrecht, Rob Britton, and Matt Anderson. From investment tips to tax strategies, the insights shared were both timely and practical. The lively discussion sparked valuable takeaways for both seasoned professionals and those just beginning to plan their financial futures. It was a morning filled with energy, collaboration, and strong community spirit.
- We were honored to attend the Lake Elsinore Valley Chamber’s 2025 Student of the Year celebration, recognizing eight outstanding students from the Lake Elsinore Unified School District. This inspiring event highlighted the achievements of monthly awardees, culminating in scholarships for the top students—thanks to the generosity of community sponsors. Seeing local youth celebrated for their hard work and determination was a powerful reminder of the bright future ahead. Events like these truly showcase the value of community investment in education.
- We were proud to sponsor dinner for the dedicated participants of the Murrieta Citizens' Fire Academy—a program that gives community members an inside look at the vital work of our Fire & Rescue team. It was an honor to support those taking the time to better understand and engage with the incredible efforts of our local first responders. Fun fact: Our CEO, Patrick, was part of the inaugural Citizens Academy class in 2016!
- Patrick attended the Murrieta Valley Unified School District’s Summer Job Fair, connecting with graduating seniors ready to enter the workforce. It was a great opportunity to engage with emerging talent, share career insights, and support the next generation of professionals as they take their first steps into the job market. The enthusiasm and ambition of these students were inspiring—and a clear sign that our local workforce has a bright future ahead. We look forward to seeing how these young professionals grow in their careers.
- We had a productive springboard discussion with business coach and speaker Volker Jaeckel about developing new programs and curriculum for the Murrieta Innovation Center. His insights and expertise are helping shape impactful offerings that will support entrepreneurs and startups in our region. This collaboration is a vital step in transforming the MIC into a hub of forward-thinking solutions, resources, and mentorship. We’re excited to continue building out innovative programming that empowers our local business community.
We’re all about advancing our business community—through meaningful events, strong relationships, and shared progress. No matter how you’ve been involved—attending, supporting, or simply staying informed—we appreciate your continued engagement and the passion you bring to our journey together.
