Five Things The Chamber Did For Your Business: January 26 – January 30, 2026
At the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, our mission is rooted in supporting local businesses and fostering connections that spark growth and opportunity. From recognizing achievements to strengthening relationships and advocating for regional priorities, everything we do is focused on building a strong, connected, and resilient community. Wondering what we’ve been up to lately?
Here are five highlights from the past week:
- We were proud to host Murrieta’s Coffee with the City, bringing together local business and community leaders for an engaging and informative morning. The City of Murrieta’s Economic Development team shared valuable insights on current initiatives, resources, and strategies designed to support business growth and attract investment to the region.
- Patrick attended a tour of UC Riverside’s wet lab, gaining valuable insight as we prepare for the upcoming opening of our own MIC lab. Alongside our MIC Lab Manager, the visit sparked a list of ideas, wants, and needs for properly equipping the space to best serve up-and-coming innovators. This planning is especially exciting as our MIC wet lab will become only the second of its kind in Riverside County.
- CalChamber secured a key victory for employers with the defeat of SB 310 (Wiener), a bill that would have expanded the private right of action for wage and hour penalties. The proposal threatened to undermine the 2024 PAGA reforms by reopening the door to increased litigation abuse. Through strong advocacy by CalChamber and the Fix PAGA coalition, the bill failed to advance in the Senate, protecting recent reforms and supporting a more balanced business climate.
- Our Chamber was proud to successfully host the January All-Chamber MEGA Mixer, welcoming chambers of commerce and local businesses from across the region for an unforgettable evening of connection. With more than 1,000 attendees, the event created an energetic atmosphere filled with networking, new introductions, and meaningful relationship-building. It was a powerful reminder of the strength of our regional business community and the impact that collaboration and connection can have when we come together.
- Patrick met with a new potential MIC tenant, Mustard Bio, an innovative company based in Ireland that is transforming pharmaceutical development through the use of artificial intelligence. The company leverages AI to create more effective and scalable drug production processes, aligning closely with the mission of the MIC to support cutting-edge innovation.
We’re grateful to be part of such a dynamic and engaged business community—one defined by collaboration, genuine relationships, and shared momentum. Whether you’ve joined us at an event, supported our work behind the scenes, or stayed connected online, thank you for the enthusiasm and encouragement you bring to our collective success.
