Five Things The Chamber Did For Your Business: January 5 – January 9, 2026
At the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, we’re committed to empowering local businesses and cultivating connections that fuel growth. Whether we’re recognizing milestones, building strong relationships, or advocating for regional progress, our work is centered on strengthening the network that helps our community thrive. Curious about what we’ve been up to?
Here are five highlights from the past week:
- Patrick spent the week participating in the Institute for Organization Management program, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s premier professional development experience for nonprofit and Chamber executives. The immersive program brought together leaders from across the country for in-depth coursework focused on leadership, governance, advocacy, finance, and organizational excellence. Through collaborative discussions and expert-led sessions, Patrick gained valuable insights and tools that will directly support the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber’s mission, strengthening our ability to serve members, advocate for business, and lead with impact as we continue building a thriving regional economy.
- We kicked off 2026 with a strong start at our January Networking Breakfast at The Cove Bar & Grill, bringing together business professionals for a morning of connection and insight. Featured speaker Daneen Ashworth of Compass HR presented “The Gift No One Asked For: 2026 HR Update,” sharing important updates on employment laws, compliance, and workplace best practices.
- We were excited to celebrate the Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting of Terra Network Solutions, a veteran-owned IT consulting and security solutions firm serving our region. Attendees met the team, toured the new space, and learned how Terra supports local businesses with services including structured cabling, fiber optics, CCTV systems, and access control—bringing over 40 years of mission-driven expertise to help businesses stay secure and connected.
- We’re thrilled to share that Timarie Wooley has stepped into her new role as Operations Manager for the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce. In this position, Timarie will oversee daily operations, internal processes, and member support, helping ensure the Chamber continues to run smoothly and efficiently. Her strong organizational skills, dedication, and deep understanding of our mission make her a valuable asset to both our team and the business community we proudly serve.
- We’re proud to share that the Chamber has produced a brand-new Public Policy Guide for 2026, outlining our priorities and positions to help guide advocacy efforts in the year ahead. This comprehensive resource reflects our commitment to representing the voice of business and supporting thoughtful, pro-growth policies at the local and regional levels. We look forward to sharing the guide at the first Southwest California Legislative Council meeting of the year this week.
We’re proud to serve such an outstanding business community—one defined by collaboration, authentic partnerships, and shared purpose. Whether you’ve joined us in person, cheered us on from afar, or stayed engaged online, your support truly makes a difference. Thank you for the energy, encouragement, and positivity you contribute to our collective success.
