Five Things The Chamber Did For Your Business: September 29 – October 3, 2025
At the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, our mission is straightforward: to help businesses grow and thrive. From celebrating successes and sparking new connections to driving regional progress, we’re here to strengthen the vibrant network that makes our community shine. Curious about what we’ve been working on?
Here are five highlights from the past week:
- This past weekend, our Chamber staff had the privilege of hosting our annual Board Retreat at Humphrey’s Half Moon in San Diego. The retreat brought our Board of Directors together for a productive and forward-focused session, where we reviewed the Chamber’s budget and financials, reflected on valuable feedback from the past year’s events, and engaged in strategic planning for 2026. It was an energizing opportunity to align on priorities, share ideas, and continue building a strong foundation for the future success of our Chamber and business community.
- Chris had the pleasure of attending the Southwest Riverside County Association of Realtors (SRCAR) Meet & Greet, where local leaders and community partners came together to welcome their new CEO, La Shawn Scales, and Government Affairs representative, Julie Paule. He was joined by the City Officials and Chambers of Commerce from Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Murrieta, Temecula, and Wildomar, as well as the Southwest California Legislative Council and the 2025 & 2026 SRCAR Board of Directors.
- Each week, Chris heads out into the community for Chamber walkabouts, connecting with local businesses and showing our continued presence and support. These visits are a great way to check in with business owners, hear their stories, and strengthen relationships, all while making sure members know the Chamber is here to champion their success. It’s one more way we stay engaged, visible, and committed to the growth of our local business community.
- Our October Mixer at Altura Credit Union brought together Chamber members and community partners for an evening of networking, collaboration, and connection. Guests enjoyed a welcoming atmosphere, lively conversations, and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while learning more about one of our region’s most community-focused credit unions. A big thank-you to Altura Credit Union for hosting and supporting our business community!
- Our team had an internal planning meeting to prepare for hosting the regional Civics Bee, and the excitement is building! A key focus of the discussion was the launch of the event website, which will provide local students with all the details they need on how to enter and get involved. We’re thrilled to help bring this opportunity to our community, inspiring the next generation to learn, engage, and lead through civic knowledge and participation.
We’re proud to partner with our business community—bringing people together, building relationships, and opening doors to shared opportunities. Whether you’re with us in person or supporting from a distance, your involvement matters. Thank you for the energy and positivity you add to this journey.
