Five Things The Chamber Did For Your Business: August 25 – 29, 2025

At the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, everything we do comes back to one goal: helping businesses thrive. From celebrating milestones and sparking connections to championing growth across our region, we’re here to strengthen and support the network that makes this community so vibrant. Curious about what’s been happening?

Here are five highlights from the past week:

  1. We were excited to attend this month’s Coffee with the City of Murrieta, where the Economic Development Department shared an engaging presentation highlighting current projects and upcoming businesses headed to our area. Attendees enjoyed coffee and conversation while getting a firsthand look at the growth, opportunities, and momentum shaping Murrieta’s future.
  2. We officially launched the first cohort of PitchAscent, alongside the Murrieta Innovation Center - a new program funded by Impact Riverside County. Over the next 12 weeks, participants will learn the anatomy of a winning pitch, avoid common pitfalls, and refine their presentations through hands-on practice and coaching, led by certified business coach and innovation consultant Volker Jaeckel.
  3. We had the honor of touring the construction of Inland Valley Hospital’s new seven-story, 290,000-square-foot acute care tower, led by Southwest Healthcare CEO Jared Giles. This exciting expansion will bring a new emergency department, additional operating rooms, expanded ICU and medical-surgical units, and modernized patient spaces—an incredible investment that will expand capacity and elevate healthcare for our growing community.
  4. We kicked off this year’s Student of the Month program with a meeting at the brand-new location for this year - the MVUSD Early Learning Center. The program, which selects one outstanding student from each high school every month, culminates in honoring our Students of the Year with scholarships to support their future success. We’re excited to begin the 2025–26 program next month and continue celebrating the incredible achievements of our local students.
  5. We co-hosted a webinar with CalSavers, sharing vital information with our members about the state’s retirement savings mandate and what employers need to know to stay compliant. It was an informative session designed to help local businesses prepare before the end of year deadline to avoid penalties and support their employees’ future financial security.

We’re honored to stand alongside our business community—creating purposeful events, fostering genuine relationships, and opening doors for shared success. Whether you’ve joined us face-to-face, supported us from afar, or stayed engaged along the way, your involvement makes all the difference, and we’re grateful for the energy you bring to this journey.
