Five Things The Chamber Did For Your Business: May 26 – May 30, 2025
At the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, our mission is to create impactful opportunities that support the growth and success of local businesses. From celebrating milestones and strengthening relationships to driving community progress, everything we do is centered on building a dynamic and thriving business environment. Curious about what we've been up to?
Here are five highlights from the past week:
- This month’s Coffee with the City of Murrieta brought together residents, business leaders, and city officials for an engaging morning of conversation and connection. The Murrieta Public Works Department provided valuable updates on current and upcoming infrastructure projects, roadway improvements, and the essential work being done to keep our city operating efficiently. It was a great opportunity to stay informed, ask questions, and gain insight into the services that support Murrieta’s growth and quality of life.
- Our CEO, Patrick Ellis, had a productive meeting with Mt. San Jacinto College and the Inland Empire Healthcare Employer Consortium to explore ways to create and expand Employment Training Panel (ETP) programs within the healthcare sector. These programs aim to provide targeted workforce training that meets the evolving needs of healthcare employers while opening up valuable career pathways for local residents. This collaboration is a powerful step toward strengthening our region’s healthcare workforce and supporting long-term economic growth.
- Patrick met with the Southwest Riverside Higher Education Coalition to discuss exciting developments in local education. The meeting focused on securing funding for improvements to the second tower at the MSJC Temecula campus—an important step toward expanding access to higher education and supporting workforce development in our region. Collaborations like these are essential to building a stronger future for students, businesses, and the community as a whole.
- Patrick met with representatives from the Inland Empire Community Foundation to discuss expanding programs and outreach efforts across Riverside County. The conversation focused on increasing access to valuable resources and support specifically for nonprofit organizations, helping strengthen the impact these agencies have within our region.
- Laura, Maritza, and Timarie recently attended a heartfelt appreciation event hosted by Sally Myers to recognize everyone who contributed to the success of the 2024–25 Student of the Month/Student of the Year program. Held at Sally’s home, the gathering was a warm celebration of the time, dedication, and support poured into honoring exceptional students throughout the year. Guests enjoyed a delicious lunch and dessert as they reflected on the impact of the program and the power of community collaboration.
We’re dedicated to moving our business community forward—through impactful events, valuable connections, and collaborative growth. Whether you’ve joined us in person, lent your support behind the scenes, or stayed engaged from afar, we’re grateful for the energy and commitment you bring to our shared mission.
