Five Things The Chamber Did For Your Business: May 12 – May 16, 2025

At the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, our mission is to support and elevate the local business community through impactful programs, strong partnerships, and forward-thinking initiatives. From highlighting achievements to cultivating valuable connections, everything we do is aimed at helping businesses succeed. Curious about our recent efforts?

Here are five highlights from the past week:

  1. We were selected as one of top 3 Finalists for the 2025 Chamber of the Year Award! CalChamber chose the finalists based on business advocacy, community engagement, and regional economic development. The other two finalists are Corona Chamber of Commerce and Redlands Chamber of Commerce. We are honored and proud that all the finalists for this year’s prestigious award are representing the Southern California region.Thank you to all of our members and supporters for your votes! The winner will be announced at the Business Outlook Dinner in Sacramento on June 4th, during the evening’s program.
  2. We attended another great Coffee with the City of Wildomar, where community members connected with city leaders over coffee and conversation. This month’s topic focused on the Annual Operating Budget, offering valuable insight into how the city allocates resources and plans for the year ahead. It was a great opportunity to ask questions, share ideas, and stay informed about what’s happening in Wildomar!
  3. We had the honor of attending the annual Student of the Year Awards at Sizzler in Murrieta, celebrating exceptional high school seniors from the 2024–2025 Student of the Month program. Founded in 1993 by Sally A. Myers, this meaningful event—held in partnership with the Murrieta Valley Unified School District—recognized students for their character, academic excellence, and community impact. Winners were awarded scholarships and prizes, thanks to the generous support of sponsors, donors, and volunteers. It was a truly inspiring way to close out this year’s program and celebrate the next generation of leaders!
  4. We were thrilled to celebrate the Grand Opening of Talk Therapy Center in Murrieta! Dedicated to compassionate, client-focused mental health care, their team provides a safe space for healing and growth. Their expansion into Murrieta marks an exciting chapter in bringing accessible, quality therapy services to more members of our community. We’re honored to celebrate this milestone with you—here’s to continued growth, support, and making a powerful impact on mental health in the region!
  5. Our President/CEO, Patrick Ellis, had the distinct honor of attending the SelectUSA Investment Summit in Washington, D.C.—an event that serves as the highest-profile platform in the United States for promoting foreign direct investment (FDI). Hosted by the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Summit connects economic developers, government officials, and global business leaders to explore investment opportunities and foster job growth across the country. While in D.C., Patrick also had the rare opportunity to participate in a tour of the White House, gaining firsthand perspective on the institutions that help shape national policy and economic direction. We're proud to have our Chamber leadership represented on such a prestigious stage. Participation in events like SelectUSA strengthens our commitment to advancing the Murrieta/Wildomar region as a hub of opportunity, innovation, and investment.

We’re dedicated to moving our business community forward through impactful events, lasting relationships, and collective growth. However you’ve been involved—whether attending, supporting, or staying connected—your engagement matters. Thank you for being a valued part of our shared journey.
