Southwest California Legislative Council
The Southwest California Legislative Council is a partnership between the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce, the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Lake Elsinore Chamber of Commerce, the Menifee Chamber of Commerce and the Wildomar Chamber of Commerce. Founded in 2004, this council represents the five Chambers and makes comment regarding legislation at the County, State and Federal levels. The SWCLC has partnered with many Legislators and has co-authored several pieces of legislation.
The SWCLC board consists of 16 voting members, five representatives appointed by the board of directors from each of the three founding chambers and one representative from the Menifee and Wildomar Chamber. SWCLC voting membership shall be a general representative makeup of the chambers and a balance of industry representation. SWCLC board membership is open to all Chamber members in good standing. SWCLC meetings are open to all members of the Temecula Valley, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore Valley Menifee and Wildomar Chambers of Commerce.
